The sea, nature, and a quiet living inspire Gary to create his meditative and eclectic oil paintings. Since 2021 his home has been the Acadian Peninsula, an environment encouraging reflective art and Gary”s continuous process of imbuing imagined objects and settings with a measure of realism.  For nearly 40 years Gary has painted to express and share tangible perspectives to which viewers may relate and from which new insights may begin.

He writes: I am a painter roused by human relationships — to one’s self, to one another , and to the worlds around and before.
